How we Raise it

Natural
Our farm was established in 1994

We are a small family run farm in southern Washington County. I have been milking Alpine dairy goats since 1994 and making cheese and yogurt for my own use since then. We obtained our license to sell commercially in 2004.

Our animals are bred, raised and milked here at the farm. We produce our own hay on our land that is free of any pesticides or herbicides. We do not use hormones or antibiotics.

History:
My husband Brian, myself, and our 12-year-old daughter, Regina, maintain the farm. My husband currently has a full time job away from home, but is looking to retire within the next few years. Our farm is located on the land that was part of a dairy farm that my husband grew up on.

We have always been the kind of people who prefer to 'do things for ourselves'. Dairy goats were appealing to us because of their personality and the ease of caring, maintaining and housing them.

We purchased our first goat in 1994, and have been breeding, raising and milking since then. I have been making cheese just as long. One of my dreams was to be able to sell my cheese and that became a reality in 2004.
