OUR MISSION: Delivering distinctive, delicious, exceedingly fresh meats, produce, and cheeses from Upstate farms to the kitchen doors of City chefs. We link chefs with great products from our New York State farms, assisting farmers to prosper through access to  new markets.

Dedicated Farmers

Our small family farms are located up to 200 miles due north of New York City, reaching into the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Some of the farms in this region have been in the same family for generations, while others have been established recently. All have a strong commitment to an agricultural way of life and preserving locally raised products. Our producers have pledged to offer the freshest and highest quality items through Farm to Chef in order to showcase the great desirability of local farm products and the feasibility of serving discerning New York City chefs. Products offered through Farm to Chef include a wide variety of seasonal produce, including many heirloom varieties, fruits, including “picked the same day” small fruits in season, cheeses and meats, either frozen or fresh. Click on Farm to Chef Products for an overview of our products by season.

Healthy products from healthy, sustainable farms, whether animal or vegetable, are of prime importance at Farm to Chef. Our farmers use a variety of growing practices, choosing those that best meet both their own and their customers’ needs.
